Joshua is the owner and lead tutor at Ace It Test Prep, LLC. No one in the area has the combination of skills that Mr. Platt brings to his prep and consulting programs. As an accomplished test taker, an experienced teacher and an alumni interviewer for Dartmouth he has a unique perspective on the college landscape and helps local families from that perspective.
Sean Pedersen
Sean is one of the lead face-to-face prep providers with Ace It. A graduate of the University of Florida, Mr. Pedersen is an experienced classroom teacher in both Florida and Colorado teaching General Ed. and AP classes. By developing a strong rapport with his students and motivating them to work hard Sean achieves excellent results.
Dr. Scott Carlin
Dr. Carlin has provided test preparation services to thousands of students and hundreds of teachers throughout the country in a variety of formats. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and earned his Ph.D. in Curriculum, Teaching, and Educational Policy at Michigan State University.
Keith Costner
Keith is an in home tutor for AP & IB History and Economics. A graduate of both Stetson and UCF Keith also holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership.
Emma Dominguez
Emma is one of the face-to-face test prep providers with Ace It. A graduate of the University of Florida, Mrs. Dominguez is an experienced tutor with successful clients overseas and here in Volusia county. She relates well to her students and is a great motivator
Karen Saunier
Karen specializes Reading prep for SAT and ACT as well as providing general tutoring in English and Writing. As a Teacher and Instructional Coach for VCS for 11 years, She has taught grades 6-12 in English, Language Arts, ESE and AP Language and Composition. She has a Master's Degree from Stetson in Counseling; and Undergraduate degree from USF.
Anne Cooney
Anne provides Chemistry, Physics and Math tutoring for Ace It Test Prep students. A graduate of Ithaca College with a MS in Chemical Education from Purdue University.
Robbie Harms
Robbie is an online and face to face tutor for the SAT and ACT specializing in the reading and grammar sections of both tests. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Masters in Education at the University of Florida, Robbie is now a classroom teacher in North Carolina. Leveraging his journalism degree, Robbie is also one of our lead college consultants and a coleader of College Application Bootcamp.
Bailey McCormick
Baily an online PSAT, SAT, ACT and subject area tutor. Initially, Bailey graduated from Spruce Creek High School with her IB Diploma. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2017 with a degree in Biology. She now resides in Colorado.
Jeremy Davies
Jeremy is an in home and online tutor for middle school and high school math. A graduate of Saint Leo University, he moved back to Volusia County to teach in 2018.
